Become a streamate model (individual account)

If you`re an independent cam model make sure to choose I am a performer in Account type.

Display name is your nickname on site, visible to members. Do not type your real name here.

Fill in all the blank spaces and proceed to step 2.

Scroll the whole agreement and put a check below.

Note that here you must type your legal name so that it matches the name on your ID card.

State any name that you have you used before and if you changed your legal name. If you haven`t, put a check I have no known aliases and click on Continue.

Click on capture photo and take a shot with ID close to your face. Make sure you allow the web page to use your camera before proceeding to this step. After that click Next.

For the next step, you will require your smartphone. Click on Start button.

My earnings – here you can review your current earnings for the week.

My rating – it is 4 stars by default, however in order to get better placement on site you should try to get 5 stars. Members can vote for models after private shows so try to ask them to give you a great rating and write a review about a show.

My favorites – the amount of users that put you into “Favourites”, in other words, your followers.

Fan club subscriptions – a paid option for fans to get your exclusive content and show discounts.

You can change your published plan and set the price of monthly subscription by clicking on a button Create new plan. The maximum price is $49.99 a month.

You need to load at least one video into your account to be able to open a fan club.

Tags – they are the “categories” that members assign to you. Any member can put five tags per day to a model. Some girls ask for a tag in exchange of a flash or a simple action but you don`t necessarily have to do that. After all, it doesn`t cost a member a dime to put a tag. If he likes it`s totally okay to ask a customer to give you a tag. The more tags you get the better your profile visibility is.

Edit show description –

Fill in all the blanks (Headline, My show, Turn ons, Expertise). You bio page should give members a feeling of what kind of person you are and what kind of show then can expect from you. Engagement

Media manager – this is a page where you upload photos and videos into your account. Streamate allows you to offer content for sale that can be a good source of a passive income and also a way for more exposure and new fans and regulars.

Click on a big button in a lower right corner to upload a new file.

Read the guidelines and check if the content you are about to upload meets the requirements.

All uploaded photos and videos will go straight to Pending where you can also edit them, set the price and description and submit for moderator review. Videos will be declined if there are any music tracks used that are not from Streamate collection.

Tags are the search key words that allow members to sort the content so try to type as much as possible (but only those that match the picture/video).

Select content type and set the price (maximum is $149.99)

Once you are finished, click Submit for Approval.

My wishlist – a digital wish-list on your profile page. When members redeem their collected points for one of this categories, models receive 30-35% of the monetary value of redeemed item. The money will appear in a weekly payment statistics.

Videos – by clicking this page you can view all your exisiting, submitted and rejected videos. Streamate also gives you an option of giving a video to a member for free, that can be used as a gratitude for a private, a huge tip or a fan club membership. Some models give videos away to the highest tippers of their gold shows (we will talk about gold shows later).

To send a free video click on one of the two options (Users by date or Fan club members, depending on who you want to give it to) then choose nickname(s) of the member(s) and click Send videos.

Messenger – here all your messages from members are stored. Unfortunately you can only interact with a member if he writes to you first. However you can send them mass messages.

I recommend to send mass messages once a week. This way you can remind your fans about yourself, let them know about upcoming streams, special shows and discounts etc.

You can select the recipient list (members who paid you at least once or just followers). Still this option lags sometimes so I advise you to send mass messages to your followers list because I`ve noticed my messages to paid customers haven`t been delivered.

You can add photo or video to your mail and schedule it or send it right away. All mass messages are reviewed by site moderators before being sent.

Rates and shows

By default, your private price is $2.49 per minute and your Exclusive chat is disabled but that needs to be fixed.

Click on Disabled link and choose a price from various options.

I suggest you go with $2.99 per minute of private chat and $3.99 for exclusive chat for starters. Some may say that new girls should lower the prices a little to get more customers to buy their shows. However that is not necessarily the case for Streamate. From what I`ve gathered, Streamate guys don`t really favor cheap girls and there is even a tag “99c” they put for those who sell their shows cheap. So don`t worry your customers will come anyway.

Don`t forget to activate block sessions as well.

Schedule – it is important to manage your schedule so that the followers know when to come find you ad can become your potential customers.

Become a streamate models (account for couples)

Streamate allows performers to create couple account however, you will not find this option during the regular process of application.

If you wish to stream occasionally with your boyfriend/husband/girlfriend first create an individual account of your own then contact Streamate Model Support regarding the issue.

You will find the contact support button below the page, in your model account.

If Streamate accepts your request, they will add a temporarily option into your model`s account dashboard to submit an extra set of ID. Once you upload an ID of your streaming partner and it gets verified you may start camming together. You are not allowed to stream as a couple while second application is pending.

If you wish to create a solo account along with a couples account you will need to start a new registration form for a separate account, but this time make it individual. You may switch between the two accounts but note that if you stream from solo account you are the only person that has the right to appear on cam. If you stream as a couple, you should come online together.

Also have in mind that if your customers find you solo, they may constantly ask where your partner is so it`s better to have two separate accounts for that.

Join streamate (Members account)

In order to create a member account visit main page streamate.com. Click at the link Free account in the upper right corner.

The sign up process is simple. You need to create a nickname, password and to type an e-mail that will be linked to your account. Next step is to link your card but don`t worry site won`t take any money from you unless you decide to join a private show or tip a model.

If you are a member of Streamate that accidentally came across this article (why not?) please remember to be polite and honest to models. Remember: great show cannot be cheap so if you are willing to treat a model with respect and courtesy they will go out of their way to make your day.

Members cannot sort models by private rates but they can sort them by categories or tags. Tags are put by members themselves so if you see a model you like you may help them out a bit and put a few tags on a profile for a better exposure.

Models aren`t able to contact you first (they can only send Mass messages to all their customers or followers) but you can. There are also options to support your favorite model. Chatting and viewing models while they are in public chat is free, but requesting privates or watching gold shows is not. You can pay via credit card, PayPal, iDeal, PaySafecard.

In order to not have your account and membership canceled follow the site rules. And finally, we`ve come to the most important part – how to stream here and earn your first $$.

This is the button that will send you to a streaming page.

Before having access to that page you need to verify all the information and click Accept.

Members view screenshots of models on a main page so you can take a photo to give them a hint of how you are looking at the moment. You can change this snapshot when you`re online by clicking a photo button under your stream.

Before you come online, manage your stream settings my clicking the button in the upper corner.

Streamate gives you the option to choose a language of your streming page, theme, interface (single chat – guest and paid combined or split chat – guest and paid chat separated). Video recordings option allows you to record all your privates for future sell if you wish.

Chat settings – there are two different chat modes. While in classic mode, members can`t see other viewers` messages and it appears to them they are alone in the chat room. While in party mode, members can see messages of others unless a member decides to write to a model personally. Also Party mode is the only mode where you can run a Gold show (more about that later).

Member list sort – you can sort nicknames in alphabetical order or by their level (the more they spend on site the higher their level is).

GOLD Menu – this is a sort of tip menu. Members give you a certain amount of gold for you to perform or do an action. Keep in mind that some things such as genitalia flash and below the waist nudity are not allowed in public chat.

Make sure your stream quality deemed as Excellent (you`re gonna need this for higher placement on site). If your stream quality is Poor and highlighted red then most likely you have connection problem and your image is laggy.

You will see all viewers` nicknames in the left column. By left clicking on nickname you can write a personal message to a member visible to him only.

Some quests have different numbers next to their nicknames. These are the ones who already spent some money on you: the higher the number, the bigger the spender is.

Put notes on members to not forget important information and to build a lasting online relationship with them.

Next to a nickname you`ll see a folder button. Left click on it and open the smaller window for notes and member` profile. This is also a way if you want to ban or report him.

You can view your previous notes, session statistics, add new notes and delete older ones.

Once a member with notes appears in your chat room, the folder next to his nickname will be highlighted yellow and you can easily access notes by clicking on his name.

Some things you have to know about being online on Streamate:

2. Streamate doesn`t give you an option of accepting or declining regular privates. When a member enters regular paid session, you will see his nickname switch from guest chat to paid chat. However, if someone requests an exclusive private, you can opt to decline or accept. Members don`t pay extra for sharing their cams.
3. Once a private is initiated others can spy and they can do so for free first 30 seconds. This is the reason why some models even put exclusive private rates cheaper than regular rates – to avoid free spyers.
4. Quick messaging is a useful feature in free chat. You can create several quick message such as “Welcome in my room, how are you?” or “Don`t forget to add me to favs if you like me” etc.

Gold Show on Streamate

We`ve already briefly discussed what the Gold show is and what the requirements are.

If you don`t meet the requirements to be eligible for Gold shows but you wish to have that option you may try contact the Model support and they might add this button to your account.

What I`ll do: the description of what kind of performance is going to happen in gold show. This text will be visible for all page visitors so it`s supposed to entice them to buy your show.

Gold requested: the amount of golds needed to start the show. It can be anything from 1 to 9999.

Minimum buy-in: the amount of individual user to contribute to view the show.

Minutes I`ll do it: the duration of gold show.

Minutes to goal: the duration of pre-show during which members should pledge for show.

When you hit Start request button you are in a pre-show chat mode. Customers cannot take you private but they can pledge any amount for show (starting from minimum buy-in). Once your gold requested amound is met, you are given 90 seconds to start the show. You can start it immediately or wait a little.

During gold show customers can pay you more so encourage them to tip vibe you or spoil you with golds if they are enjoying the show. All the golds will be at your account balance sometime after the show is finished.

If you close the gold show before the timer, all golds will be returned to pledgers.

If you don`t reach your goal in pre-show you may still start gold show hoping that some customers join in (and they usually do). You can start gold show even with 0 golds. If you don`t reach your goal and choose to cancel your show then all golds will be returned to those who pledged.

If you multi-stream and someone takes you private on another site you can use Streamate gold shows as a sort of fake private. Select a higher minimum buy-in and run a gold show. This way you will keep your online minutes timer running and who knows, maybe someone joins in to peek at your hot show.

Some tips on how to run a successful gold show:

1. If you have low traffic in your room, try to run gold show as much as possible. It puts your profile in a separate category on site. If the gold show target is met and exceeded it boosts your profile to the higher position on Streamate.
